This is the third concert of Organist Jang Yeong-hee held in the Grand Theater of Sejong Center for the Performing Arts, after the one in 1994 and 2009. According to Jang, playing the organ in Sejong Center for the Performing Arts is difficult compared to cathedrals or churches in foreign countries in that a player has to more focus on expressing details like notes, melody, and breathing between the notes. In general, organs in cathedrals or churches have much more reverberation. However, she said that that is one of the charms the organ has and one of the pleasures an organist can enjoy. In this recital, Jang Yeong-hee will present an unforgettable memory to all with in-depth and touching playing.
