우선, 약자에 대해서 알아 보면,

r 는 reverse 를 말한다. - 뒤에서부터

i 는 insensitive 를 말한다. - 대소문자 구분하지 않고
Unlike the strpos(), stripos() is case-insensitive.



strpos() - Find the position of the first occurrence of a substring in a string
strrpos() - Find the position of the last occurrence of a substring in a string
stripos() - Find the position of the first occurrence of a case-insensitive substring in a string
strripos() - Find the position of the last occurrence of a case-insensitive substring in a string
