줄거리 :    목포 어시장에서 생선장사를 하는 홀어머니의 사랑을 받으며 남준은 가수왕의 꿈을 이루기 위해 서울에 온다. 성공한 줄 알았던 친구 동훈이가 한낱 무명가수에 지나지 않음을 알고 남준은 자기를 희생해 가며 친구를 도와준다. 어느정도 인기가 오르던 동훈이 자동차사고를 내자 자기가 덮어쓰고 대신 복역을 하나, 남준이 출소하자 이미 인기가수가 된 동훈은 그를 만나주지도 않는다. 절망한 남준은 자살을 기도하나 민향이란 아가씨의 구조를 받는다. 남준의 재능을 발견한 민향은 미국유학도 포기하면서 그를 도와준다. 남준의 노래는 점점 퍼져나가고 마침내 가수왕 시상식, 많은 사람의 박수 속에서.....

SYNOPSIS : With a dream of best singer, Nam Jun, comes to Seoul, beloved by his single mother who sells fish at Mokpo fish market. By sacrificing himself, Nam Jun helps his friend Dong-Hun, who is only a nameless singer. Instead of Dong-Hun who causes a car accident, Nam June is put in the jail. After Nam Jun is released from the prison, Dong-Hun, who has become a famous singer, doesn't even meet him. The disappointed Nam Jun in his friend tries to commit suicide, but Min-Hyang saves him, sees his talents, and helps him, giving up her study in the United States. Finally, Nam Jun's song spreads out, and he wins the prize of best singer......
