줄거리 : 이조시대 명종은 세자를 남기고 세상을 떠난다. 그의 3명의 후궁들은 궁궐로부터 쫓겨나게 되고 그중 하나가 복녀였다. 가난에서 벗어나기 위해 명종의 시녀로 궁궐에 들어갔을 때는 그녀는 이미 임신한지 1주일이 되는 때였다. 왕이 죽었을 때 대비는 새로운 왕이 탐탁치 않아 자신의 권력을 유지하기 위해 복녀의 새아기를 세자의 자리에 올린다. 복녀가 다시 궁궐로 돌아온 후 그녀는 진실을 대비의 심복 시중들에게 고백한다. 그러다 간신들의 모함으로 위기에 처한다. 복녀의 남편이며 아기의 아버지인 병철이 간신들로부터 그들을 구해낸다.

SYNOPSIS : It is Yi Dynasty. King Myeong Jong passed away leaving the crown prince. His 3 concubines are expelled from the palace. Bok-Nyo is among them. A week before she goes into the palace to get out of poverty, she bcomes pregnant. After former king dies, the king's mother who doesn't like new king gives the post of crown prince to Bok-Nyo's baby. When Bok-Nyo comes back to the palace, she confesses the truth to attendants of king's mother. Later when she gets in danger caused by treacherous men, Byeong-Cheol, her husband and real father of the baby, saves her and baby from bad men.
